LaShuk is Popping up at Goddess and the Baker!
LaShuk Street Food is popping up at our River North location
every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Come by to dine in, take out
or order for delivery and enjoy LaShuk along with Goddess treats.
Husband and wife duo Yosi and Aviva Alhadif specialize in creating memorable experiences through the ingredients and flavors of LaShuk Street Food. An Israeli native, Yosi loved the vibrant Israeli street culture, where food reflected the experiences of people from all over the world. These memories and flavors define his food today and are the building blocks that created LaShuk. Together the couple bring fresh, homemade hummus, hand crafted pita, and other Israeli inspired delights to the Chicago community.
After graduating from the French Pastry School of Chicago, Yosi worked in notable local restaurants such as Mindy’s Hot Chocolate, Somerset, and Princi. He also gained valuable experience in Israeli cuisine during an internship at Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia under world-renowned Chef Michael Solomonov.
